1. The rent man and the Madam both agree because they were agreeing that they both disagree.

2.the message of the Madam and the Rent man is life in the ghetto is very hard and Landlords are always on their tail and the house is terrible. 

3.The author uses a New York kind of tone and language. It makes the Poem more interesting and it is true to the poem.
